Since 1922 Bible in the Schools has provided the necessary resources to that the study of the Bible is available to public school students in the Chattanooga area. The Hamilton County public school system offers five elective courses in Bible history. Courses are taught only in schools where principals request them, and all classes strictly follow federal court rulings and guidelines. Typically, the classes are electives in the Social Studies curriculum.
