Description
This Trust is a 501(c)3 non-proft supporting organization of the Boys & Girls Club. Money is being raised to endow the Trust. This Trust will be used to give a $10,000 scholarship annually to the Recipient of the Youth of the Year Award in the states of Alabama, MS. and LA. The money will go towards higher education. Beverly Burton, a dedicated volunteer and supporter of the Boys & Girls Club for 25 years, was tragically killed in a plane crash on Jan. 28, 2006, when she was returning from a speaking engagement on behalf of the Boys & Girls Club in Natchez, MS. This Trust is in Beverly's name because of her extreme dedication and love for the Boys & Girls Club.
