Description

We are an eleven year old Charter School located in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood in Chicago, Illinois. We have three campuses. Betty Shabazz (BSICS) and Barbara A. Sizemore (BASA) are both elementary campuses with K-8 curriculum. DuSable Leadership Academy(DLA) is in its fourth year as a high school under the Small Schools Initiative. We specialize in an African-centered science and technology curriculum complimented by an emphasis in the visual and performing arts.
