Description

A 501c3, non-profit, 100% volunteer group that trains pet assisted therapy teams and assists them in registering with national pet registry organizations. Best Friends' teams visit hospitals, schools, libraries, nursing homes and day clinics (i.e. Cancer Centers) and participate not only in visiting patients, residents and staff at these facilities but through involvement in rehab activities with surgical and stroke patients.
