Description
Best Friends Mentoring Program serves at-risk youth in the 8 county region of southwest North Dakota by providing screened and trained volunteer mentors for a one-to-one relationship. We annually work with more than 250 at-risk youth and more than 250 volunteers. Youth who are mentored do better in school, increase their social skills, behavior and attitudes -- as compared to their non-mentored, at-risk peers.
