Description

Best Buddies Pennsylvania (BBPA) is a state affiliate of Best Buddies International (BBI). BBI was founded in 1989 by Anthony Kennedy Shriver and today has over 1,400 chapters and is active in 41 countries.

BBPA was founded in 1994 and pairs High School students with fellow students with intellectual disabilities in one-to-one friendships. Best Buddies Colleges program matches college students with people with intellectual disabilities from the local community.

Best Buddies Pennsylvania supports 55 high school and college chapters throughout Pennsylvania.
