Berkeley Preparatory School, founded in 1960, is a PreK- Grade 12 co-educational independent day school located in Tampa, Florida. Edgar T. McCleary, Berkeley's founding headmaster, modeled Berkeley on the concept of a New England boarding school, with this mission: To nurture students' intellectual, emotional, spiritual and physical development so they may attain their highest human potential.
