Description

The Save Our Country Schoolhouse (SOCS) project is a venture to raise money to move one of the remaining one-room rural schoolhouse to a permanent location in Vinton, IA. to be used as a museum and geneological library. Benton Country is one of only three Iowa counties that has not saved a one-room school house for the future.
