Description
Benedictine School for Exceptional Children: Educational, residential and day services for children and adults with developmental disabilities, ages 5 through 60. School programs include: functional academics; speech therapy; psychological, psychiatric, social work, counseling and case management; assistive technology; physical and occupational therapy; vocational and transitional services; and intensive collaborative programs designed for students within the Autism Spectrum. The Open Community Program operates 28 state-licensed group homes for adults throughout Maryland and Delaware. Benedictine is a fully approved, non-sectarian service provider caring for individuals with special needs without regard to racial, ethnic, or religious background, located on Maryland's Eastern Shore.
