Description

Formed in 2002 as a faith-based non-profit group Believe in West Virginia’s focus is to create economic opportunities by transforming the business culture of West Virginia. This is our long-range objective which we are always pursuing while at the same time addressing the immediate needs of the people of our state. One of the opportunities we have been given to serve those needs is through Storehouse West Virginia. In addition we are working across West Virginia to network those who have a special concern for our younger generations. We have come to call this the West Virginia Youth Encouragers Network. Through this network we have been instrumental in promoting the Silver Ring Thing - a sexual abstinence program directed toward teens. Building upon these efforts we are also serving to support Appalachian Teen Challenge, a substance abuse program for young adults.
