Description
The mission of Beginnings, Inc. is to enhance the development of children and empower families by providing "the best start a child can have" as we work to enable children to reach their full potential developmentally and help families to grow strong through early intervention and education opportunities.
Programs offered by Beginnings emphasize parent involvement and direction. Services include education and support for families with children primarily from birth to 4 years, home-based special instruction and developmental therapy, programs for children and families at risk for abuse and neglect; playgroups, preschool and childcare; and Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA). Beginnings, Inc. has a toy, equipment and parent book lending library, offers the international Music Together program and provides the "Child's Play: Fun and Fitness Center," a place for children to create their own play experiences.
