Description

Our mission is to rescue, rehab, and re-home equines. We give horses that have been neglected, abused, and/or abandoned a chance to begin their life again, without pain and worry, but with dignity and respect. Unlike many rescues, we take in difficult cases that may require a lot of resources for rehab - we feel they deserve a chance. We have taken in horses with birth defects, Cushing’s disease, cancer, blindness, broken bones, mutilations, and other serious conditions/injuries. Once a horse is here it gets vet, farrier, and dental care - then come expenses to maintain each horse. We educate the public on proper horse care and what to do if they see a horse needing help. We try to get youth involved and teach them proper horse care. We hope to establish a program to take mini’s to nursing homes. We try to help horse owners going through a short period of financial difficulty to keep their horse by providing grain and/or hay. Donations are tax deductible.
