Description
Bay State Equine Rescue, Inc. (BSER), located in central Massachusetts, is a volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) organization. Our mission is to rescue and rehabilitate misused, neglected, and abandoned equines and restore their integrity through physical, mental and emotional care. In short, we serve as the human advocates these deserving animals sorely lack.
In addition to equine preservation, BSER seeks to enhance public awareness of equine abuse, educate youths and adults on proper horse care, and enact legislation on behalf of equines. Through community service, educational programs, and example, BSER creates and maintains a standard of excellence that can be duplicated nationwide to unite like-minded rescues in the goal of abolishing horse mistreatment through community-based teamwork.
