B.W. STOP (The Battered Women’s Safe Territory – an Opportunity to Progress), incorporated on April 20, 1994, is a non-for-profit organization established in the states of New York and Connecticut, committed to providing temporary residential housing and program services for victims of domestic violence and their families within a continuum of care that fosters self-reliance, personal and professional growth, and economic and social independence.
BW STOP provides our clients - the victims of domestic violence and their families – counseling, family/group therapy, medical referrals, babysitting services, educational and vocational training. BW STOP offers these services to assist in developing self-reliance and independence for our clients.
