Description

Missions: “To engage the community in supporting families & individuals by providing access to quality used clothes, household items, and furniture in a convenient, dignified manner.”

We opened 1998. Donates goods for resale are tax deductable. We are committed to recycling.

In 2008 we gave goods worth $54,274, to 283 adults, 385 children, 13 Seniors & other organizations.

We train WorkForce persons & were honored by the Governor & The Dept. of Employment, Dev., Senior Comm. Serv. Employment Prog. (SCSEP), as 1 of 2007’s Outstanding Employers of Older Workers.

We supervise adults & youth performing community service in the store. In 2008: 178 youth & adults gave 2,872 service hrs.

We are a site for youth to fulfill service obligations i.e. Confirmation Classes, Nat. Honor Soc., ROTC, Scouting etc., helping them build value thru education & volunteerism to serve the communities.

We have free furniture pick-up, by appointment every other Saturday.
