Description
Ballet Lubbock is a 501c3 educational,non-profit organization founded in 1969. It has over 50 alum who have become professional dancers and it is the only pre-professional classic ballet and performing company in West Texas and Eastern New Mexico.
We provide scholarships to students in need, and training to ages 3- adult. Ballet Lubbock is a big part of the Arts in Lubbock and its surrounding areas providing free outreach performances such as the Nutcracker and Spring performance to underserved members of the community. Such as Buckner Children's Home, Lubbock Regional MHMR, Women's and Children's Protective Services, Texas Boy's Ranch, and many elementary groups and senior living centers.
It is an educational and cultural experience which the audience never forget; and dancers carry with them a lifetime!
