The Balagula Theatre Company was formed in 2003 from a collective of local actors and artists seeking new direction and autonomy of artistic expression. The Balagula Theatre Company considers itself an actor’s theatre with a mission of nurturing talent, believing that only when and where the talent and creativity of the performers is given the fullest opportunity, the audiences enjoy the art and culture of theatre at its best. The Balagula Theatre Company offers an education program developed to encompass a full range of theatrical training, celebrating the process of discovering the actor in every person and the artist in every actor.
