Description
The Back to School Roundup is a community collaboration that is designed to assist families and their children in need living in Tarrant County. The Roundup is a once a year event that provides eligible children grades K-5 with FREE school supplies, backpacks, shoes and socks, hair cuts, immunizations, and many other resources for the children and their families.
Collaboration has been the key to the past success of the program, and as one of our collaborators put it, “This program epitomizes the notion of pooling resources to impact the greatest number. In this case it is our children, our future decision-makers; it would be a pity not to be involved in something that creates the environment for children to be successful in school and beyond!"
