Description

Avon Players is a non-profit community theater located in Rochester Hills, Michigan. The group was founded in 1947 by enthusiasts who loved the thrill and energy of live performances. During a typical season, the troupe's multi-talented volunteers bring to the stage five full-scale productions.
We are actively involved with many of the area's civic efforts, by either entertaining or loaning the playhouse. Some of the areas we've played a part in include: Music reviews for Appreciation Nights for Rochester's Meals on Wheels volunteer delivery people, singing during Christmas events such as Lagniappe Night for the DDA, performing for the Kiwanis Summer Concert in the Park Series at the Rochester Municipal Park, performing at the annual Arts & Apples weekend, participating at the annual Christmas Parade (we're proud that one of our longtime members did the co-hosting for many years!), and being part of Rochester Hills Public Library events such as "Spread the Cheer -- Volunteer."
