Description
The mission of Avivara is to improve the quality of and access to education in Guatemala, and to cultivate interconnectedness between the peoples of Guatemala and the United States. It does this through its programs of grants to schools in rural, poverty-impacted villages in Guatemala, scholarships in Guatemala, After-school learning centers and a service and study abroad program for people wishing to volunteer and/or learn more about Guatemala.
