Description
The Avera Health Foundation exists to help people share in the Avera ministry of health and healing. We solicit gifts from our many friends and distribute them to meet health care needs of people throughout eastern South Dakota and neighboring states.
With our donors' gifts, we touch many lives in many ways. For example, we purchase meals, assist burn victims, establish wellness programs, remodel emergency rooms, test infants' hearing, develop hospice services, provide lodging for out-of-town patients, purchase pianos for retirement centers and supply a warm jacket and sturdy shoes patients who need them.
