Austin State Hospital Volunteer Services Council (ASH VSC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation dedicated to improving the lives of the adults and children receiving psychiatric inpatient treatment at Austin State Hospital. Austin State Hospital serves 4,400 individuals from 71 counties in Texas each year. Programs funded by the ASH VSC include Family House, the "Live at ASH" music program, Project: HOPE - bringing the hope of recovery through art, ARTS Space, Peer Support, and support of Educational and Rehabilitation activities.
