Austin History Center Association - AHCA


The Austin History Center Association supports the Austin History Center, the local history archives of the Austin Public Library. The Austin History Center collects, preserves, and makes available to the public archival materials that document the history of Austin and Travis County, Tecas, and the Association funds the purchase of special archives and archival equipment and supplies not funded by the City of Austin. The Association also publishes materials from the Austin History Center through Waterloo Press, presents lectures on topics of Austin's history and receptions for Austin History Center exhibits, special tours of the Austin History Center, preservation workshops, funds professional training and continuing education for Austin History Center staff, and many member and public programs.
