Description

Austin-East High School is located in the eastern section of Knoxville. Approximately 860 students attend with the majority being African-American. A comprehensive curriculum encompassing vocational, academic, and special needs programs provides a broad based educational spring board for students to successfully compete in the world of work or progress further with their educational endeavors. A strong sense of pride and tradition permeates the atmosphere of all the activities associated with our school program. A truly community based educational program is the goal of Austin-East High School
