Austin Area Interreligious Ministries


Austin Area Interreligious Ministries (AAIM) unites faith and cultural communities to foster mutual respect, partnership and transformation in service of the common good. AAIM provides many opportunities for congregations and individuals of all faiths to work together. AAIM provides many interfaith opportunities for people to learn about other faiths in a variety of venues. The most recognized is AAIM's Annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Service held the Sunday before Thanksgiving. AAIM provides service opportunities for individuals and congregations to work together through our Hands on Housing program repairing homes for low income elders, Refugee program that teaches English as a Second Language and cultural orientation to refugees that resettle in the Austin Area;and the CROP Hunger Walk that raises money for world hunger.
