Description
The not-for-profit Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum is located in the restored 1930 art deco administrative building of the former Auburn Automobile Company. The museum displays 120 classic, antique, vintage and special interest cars in eight galleries. Its galleries showcase Auburn, Cord and Duesenberg cars, historic Auburn-built cars, classic marques, other Indiana-built cars and special interest autos. An expansion in 2001 added a large banquet hall, meeting rooms and needed gallery space. The museum currently houses the largest public exhibit of Duesenbergs in the world. The museum, accredited by the American Association of Museums since 1997, is a National Historic Landmark.
