Description
Atlas Service Corps is a new international citizen sector organization that will bring mid-career nonprofit leaders from the developing world to do a year of training and service in the U.S. at “Host” nonprofits and then return home to build the capacity of their local organizations. This Fellowship will increase cooperation and create networks within the nonprofit sector across borders to address the world’s most pressing challenges. In a nutshell, Atlas Corps has created a sustainable model that for the first time ever allows rising nonprofit leaders from around the world to more effectively work together on issues like HIV/AIDS, the trafficking of women, the environment, education and poverty.
