The Atlanta Youth Tennis & Education Foundation (AYTEF) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization established in 2003 as the Atlanta Community Tennis Foundation to meet the needs of unexposed youth in the metro Atlanta area. Our mission is "to promote the physical and mental development of underserved youth through tennis and education."
AYTEF provides afterschool and summer programs that focus on life skills, academic achievement and physical activity. These programs include the Academic Creative Engagement (ACE) curriculum, tennis instruction, the Arthur Ashe Essay Contest, Junior Team Tennis, Tournaments, and the National Student-Athlete Competition, build character, teach respect, and help improve grades and attitudes, in addition to promoting healthy lifestyles. AYTEF serves 1000 youth ages 5-18 annually.
