Description
Atkinson County Family Connection is a collaborative that consists of partners from various sectors dedicated to promoting the well-being of children and families in Atkinson County. We come together to discuss our visions for our community, assess the needs, and decide how we can work together to meet those needs. We are working to produce positive outcomes in five areas:
*Healthy Children
*Children Ready to Start School
*Children Succeeding in School
*Stable, Self Sufficient Families
*Strong Communities
Our strategic plan includes two benchmarks:
(1)To increase the number of students who graduate from high school on time, and
(2)To decrease the incidence of child abuse and neglect.
