Athenaeum of Philadelphia


A historic library, research center, and gallery, housed in a National Historic Landmark building, the Athenaeum of Philadelphia was established in 1814 and moved into its present building in 1847. It hosts educational programs for all ages, plus a gallery of revolving shows which highlight its rare book and research collections.
