Description
The Association of Baltimore Area Grantmakers (ABAG) is a membership organization serving the needs of grantmakers in the Greater Baltimore region. Our organization helps grantmakers do their jobs more effectively and efficiently through one-on-one assistance, educational programming, professional development, skillbuilding, and peer networking.
ABAG was created in 1983 because of the need expressed by the local philanthropic community. Founding members believed that they could work more effectively if they knew the broader funding community, knew the issues surrounding different program areas, such as education and workforce development, and worked together to solve problems.
