Description

The AAEC is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit that was founded in 1957 as a professional organization for editorial cartoonists in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Since 2004 it has launched a number of educational initiatives including Cartoons for the Classroom, and is waiting for the IRS to grant 501(c)(3) tax-deductible status to its Editorial Cartooning Initiative.
