AAWC (www.aawcone.org) is a non profit organization dedicated to the advancement of wound care. AAWC provides its members with the opportunity to build a collaborative community to facilitate optimal care for patients who suffer with wounds. AAWC is an all-inclusive, multidisciplinary organization. There are categories of Membership for all types of healthcare professionals as well as students, retirees, and patients and their lay caregivers. We also encourage Membership from facilities, clinics and corporations that manufacture wound care products or provide wound care services. Numerous benefits are provided to Members, but AAWC believes in building the entire wound care community. Through careful application of AAWC finances, AAWC often reaches out in various ways to provide education and information to the broader wound care community whenever possible.
