Description
AID is a nonprofit, community-based organization that serves 4,200 individuals throughout Kane, Kendall, DeKalb, DuPage, suburban Cook, and Will Counties. Over 20 programs are available for individuals with physical or developmental disabilities, and those in need of behavioral health services or crisis intervention. AID is accredited by CARF, and is also a child welfare agency licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. AID’s mission is to empower individuals with disabilities, mental illness and special needs to achieve independence and community inclusion.
