Description

ADEC is one of the oldest interdisciplinary organizations in the field of dying, death and bereavement. Its more than 1700 members include mental health professionals, professional health care providers, educators, researchers, chaplains and clergy, hospice personnel, funeral directors, and bereavement care specialists. ADEC is on the forefront of thanatology (the study of dying and death) and provides a home for professionals from diverse backgrounds, to advance the body of kowledge, and to promote practical applications of research and theory.
