Description
The mission of The Association For Community Living is to create opportunities, build relationships and improve lives of children and adults and their families, and for others who will benefit from our services.
Founded in 1952 by five mothers of children with an intellectual disability who dreamed that their children would live and grow as valued members of their communities. We continue their dream of inclusion and respect.
The Association supports 2,127 individuals and 1,700 families in 96 cities and towns in Western Massachusetts and Worcester County.
Children and adults with autism, Down syndrome, Asperger’s Syndrome, intellectual disability, and other developmental disabilities, and their families, benefit from our services.
A private non-profit 501©3 community agency directed by a volunteer board of family members of individuals with developmental disabilities and concerned citizens.
