Asian Pacific Women's Center, Inc. (APWC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the development of affordable housing for women and children who are survivors of domestic violence. Goals of Asian Pacific Women's Center : (1) To provide housing for domestic violence survivors (2) To provide an environment that is sensitive to the cultural and language needs of Asian and Pacific Islander domestic violence survivors (3) To foster self-sufficiency skills for domestic violence survivors (4) To create public awareness through research and public information concerning the incidence and prevention of domestic violence in Asian and Pacific Islander communities and the Los Angeles community in general APWC's Programs and Services include: (1) Domestic Violence Transitional Housing Program (Confidential Shelter): (2) Children's Empowerment Program: (3) Community Education and Empowerment Program at Alhambra School District:
