    about

Established in 1987, APAIT was the first HIV/AIDS service provider in Los Angeles to serve Asians and Pacific Islanders (APIs) and has since become the largest, comprehensive API AIDS service organization in Southern California. For 27 years, APAIT has worked actively towards its mission to positively impact the quality of life for medically underserved communities living with or at-risk for HIV/AIDS and other health disparities through a seamless continuum of culturally competent and linguistically appropriate programs in Southern California. APAIT offers HIV/AIDS prevention and early intervention services, HIV testing, linkage to care, treatment adherence, patient navigation, mental health services, substance abuse prevention and treatment, benefits counseling, and housing services. APAIT is a division of Special Service for Groups, a non-profit human service agency that was incorporated in 1952.
