Description
The Asian Alliance for Health, formally known as the Asian Alliance Against Domestic Violence (AAADV), was established in 1996 to provide violence prevention related programs to the Asian Americans. In the process of developing and conducting various successful community outreach events, research, and technology programs, it became apparent to AAADV the community needs similar programs and services beyond violence prevention and expanded its efforts to include general health in the Asian community and formed the Asian Alliance for Health (Alliance).
