The Asia Society is an international organization dedicated to strengthening relationships and deepening understanding among the peoples of Asia and the United States. In pursuit of that mission, the Asia Society Washington Center conducts more than sixty public programs per year on contemporary affairs, trade and investment, economic development, arts and culture. The Washington Center provides a forum in the nation’s capital for diplomats, members of Congress, government officials, journalists, scholars, artists, business executives, and other experts to exchange views on a wide variety of subjects concerning Asia. Membership is open to the public and is encouraged for both the specialist and the non-expert who share an interest in the region. For more information, please visit www.asiasociety.org.
