Description
Ascension Academy Charter High School is a college-prep secondary school nurturing inner city young men and women to achieve and succeed in college. Our emphasis is on the core humanities courses and our curriculum requires 4 years of math and science. Our students also participate in community volunteerism through our Service Learning curriculum. Students lend their strengths and skills to community organizations, schools, and churches. Our mission includes the daily encouragement for young people to come back and give back to their community unpon graduation from college. Many of our graduates are the first high school graduate in their family and most of them are the only college bound member of the family.
