Artwell Gallery is a not-for-profit community arts organization serving Northwest Connecticut, USA founded in 1995 by director Stewart Wilson. The shared philosophy of Artwell's volunteer staff is summed up in Artwell's motto ART FOR ALL.
The mission of Artwell Inc. is to encourage and promote the visual,literary, and performing arts and artists in the Northwest Corner of Connecticut through cooperative membership in the organization. Artwell is an umbrella organization sponsoring artistic, educational programs and workshops and musical, dramatic, and literary
performances of Connecticut artists. Through its programs, Artwell Inc.. fosters and promotes public support for and participation in the arts.
