Description
The Arts Experience, a national and state award winning nonprofit 501c3 organization, builds bridges for youth through arts education that fosters cultural understanding, self-discipline, social development and academic achievement. Located in the greater Charlotte, NC region, TAE operates year-round with the following programs: TAE Children's Choirs & Youth Oratorio, TAE All County Choral Festival, The Summer Experience (performing and visual arts day camp), Professional Development Workshops for teachers and Student Art Exhibitions. TAE partners two public school systems, three private schools and with agencies such as POST, housing authorities, battered women's shelters and low-income churches to identify interested youth. Providing scholarship assistance to at-risk youth, plays a vital role in our success for the entire commuinity. No child has ever been turned away for inability to pay fees.
