Arts & Services serves adults with developmental disabilities (including intellectual impairment, cerebral palsy, and autism) by providing arts-based education, training, and therapy at four program locations in Los Angeles County. Programs provide classes in painting and drawing, music, drama, photography, and other creative disciplines.
Arts & Services promotes the social inclusion of people with developmental disabilities through cultural activities and events.
Arts & Services maintains an exhibition space in Long Beach, the George V. Deneff gallery, which shows the work of artists with disabilities from throughout California.
Arts & Services also sponsors visual and performing arts workshops throughout Southern California. Workshops are intended for students of all ages and abilities who don't have access to other art education opportunities. Children's workshops are designed to meet the California Board of Education's Visual and Performing Arts curriculum standards.
