Description
We are a non-profit organization whose mission is to "improve the lives through leadership in the prevention, control and cure of arthritis and related diseases." Our chapter office covers 14 counties in NYS and we provide exercise and tai chi programs to the public as well as FREE seminars. We also hold fund-raising events throughout the year which include: "Passion for a Cure" Arthritis Ball, Annual Arthritis Walk, and 2 Jingle Bell Run 5k's - one in July and one in December. Our new Juvenile Arthritis Program is underway where we provide the children with JA and their families educational and recreational opportunities.
