Description

We are no-kill (sometimes called "limited" kill in animal welfare circles where only truly aggressive or terminally ill animals are euthanized) shelter in rural central Colorado.See www.ark-valley.org. We are a 501 c 3 and receive not quite enough taxes and donations to cover our BASIC operating expenses. We are bursting at the seams with near 80 animals in a shelter designed for 26 a decade ago. We are beginning a campaign to build a Capital Building Fund to increase our space.
