Provide back-country camping experiences for under-privileged children, ages 8-14. Camps are run from May through October each year. Each camp consists of no more than 8-10 children lasting 3-6 days each. The camps take place in the White Mountains of eastern Arizona.
Primary education revolves around responsibility, respecting others and the outdoors, cooperation, and making constructive choices. This education takes place as the children are taken on hikes, fishing, horseback riding and many other outdoor activities as well as in the camp itself and around campfires.
