A all-volunteer non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that takes in and cares for injured and orphaned Virginia Wildlife. We network within Richmond and 6 surrounding counties with other state and licensed wildlife rehabilitators to provide the best medical care, treatment and nurturing so that those same wild animals can be returned to their natural environment. We work with licensed volunteer educators to bring the story of stewardship and conservation to all ages, from Nursery School to Nursing homes.
We provide continuing education for the rehabilitators to provide quality and meaningful care to the wildlife in need.
We manage a wildlife help hotline 7 days a week for the public to get assistance in rescuing wildlife and information about where to take the animal in need to receive aid.
