ARCH is a two part, 19 year old not for profit, based in Washington D.C.' s Historic Anacostia neighborhood. ARCh exists to : Serve as a catalyst, primarily in the wards east of the Anacostia River, ensuring individuals and families’ access to adequate and affordable housing, quality education, livable wage jobs, cultural activities, neighborhood businesses and access to social services
The second part of the organization is a not for profit development corporation whose mission is to: Act as a catalyst for commercial and cultural revitalization, primarily in the historic Anacostia neighborhood by creating a home for arts and artists as a means to fulfill the goals of Economic Development, Revitalization and Living Neighborhoods.
