Founded in 2009, the mission of Apple Wood Rescue is to provide rehabilitation, shelter, and proper care to small exotic animals in need, with an emphasis on their mental health, to ensure re-homing success. We are a no-kill shelter and sanctuary that accepts chinchillas, degus, gerbils, hamsters, mice, rats, and sugar gliders in the metro Denver area.
